GEOPATHIC STRESS
Human symptoms
It is important to remember that we are
looking at habitual difficulties here; suffering from any
of these symptoms once in a blue moon is very unlikely to
indicate a problem with geopathic stress. Also, do note
that GS will not necessarily be the answer to every dilemma
– there may be genetic or other causes at the root
of your problem; however geopathic stress may exacerbate
underlying weaknesses by weakening the immune system and
preventing the body from recharging at night time.
Some of the symptoms that people may experience
from spending time in a geopathically stressed zone include
a whole range of sleep problems, some of which are listed
below (some of these may seem contradictory but different
people are affected differently). Though people are generally
more relaxed on holiday anyway, the symptoms seem to disappear
or improve when staying elsewhere.
• Difficulty getting to sleep
• Insomnia
• Waking once or more throughout
the night
• Bad dreams or nightmares
• Night terrors
• Waking up feeling tired, even after
long night’s sleep
• Headache on waking; clears during
the day
• Wake with “fuzzy” feeling
in head, often between eyes
• Constantly feel sick or nauseous
in the morning
• Pains/aches in one or more particular
parts of the body; stiff muscles; may clear later in day
• Difficulty breathing at night
• “Cold” patches in the
bed
• Pressure on your chest at night
• Children fall out of bed
• Babies and young children end up
sleeping in corner of cot/bed
• Head works its way off the pillow;
end up sleeping at odd angles, possibly across bed
• Children may have problem with
bed-wetting
• Grind teeth in sleep
In addition to the above-mentioned difficulties, those suffering
from geopathic stress may experience some of the following:
• Difficulty conceiving
• History of unexplained miscarriages
• May find it difficult to recover
from illnesses
• Treatments with complementary therapists
may bring short-term relief but it never seems to last
• Constant round of colds, ‘flu,
viruses or infections
• Constant unexplained stomach upsets
or nausea
• Allergies
• Skin disorders such as dermatitis
• Sensitivity to electro-magnetic
fields, making it difficult to use computers, for instance
• History of ME
• History of immune system-related
disorders
• History of cancer
It should be stressed that while considerable
numbers of people who suffer from cancer or ME etc may spend
time in geopathically stressed zones, there is currently
no evidence to suggest that geopathic stress is the cause
of these conditions.
